PURPOSE AND OBJECT OF THE OPERATION
The basic purpose of the project idea is to develop transport connections along the Slovenian sea along the coast, which would enable an additional source of income for fishermen, existing providers of sea transport and the creation of new tourist itineraries by connecting the sea with the interior of Istria.
Communication between service providers and service requesters will take place via an innovative online application platform, which will create innovative jobs. It is about new connections between places, the relief of existing traffic flows (roads, garages) and easier and regulated access to protected areas.
The Maritime Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (URSP) also has a role in the project, which agrees with a letter of support that it will contribute to the project as part of its work, check the appropriate legal and formal framework for the implementation of activities and provide guidelines for the appropriate design of the application platform in terms of compatibility with NEO (national single window).
The project idea envisages appropriate training and raising awareness of potential carriers, promotion of the service on the entire Slovenian coast, and promotion of the creation of new tourist itineraries. The project partners TZ Portorož and Izola are in charge of promoting the new tourist product and encouraging the creation of new tourist itineraries.
AREA OF IMPLEMENTATION
The operation is carried out only in the area of LAS ISTRIA, namely in those areas that are included in the SLR in the financial framework for the European Fund for Regional Development ERDF.

FINANCING THE OPERATION
The operation is partially financed by the European Union, namely from the European Fund for Regional Development.
The operation is carried out within the framework of the "Operational program for the implementation of cohesion policy in the programming period 2014-2020", the priority axis "Social inclusion and reducing the risk of poverty", the thematic goal "Promoting social inclusion and the fight against poverty and any discrimination", priority investments " Investments within the framework of the community-led local development strategy" of the specific objective "Better economic and social inclusion of communities in the LAS area".
The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Fund for Regional Development.
